Presentation PPT Guidelines

All presenters must adhere to the following guidelines while preparing their PowerPoint presentations for MIDCON-2025.

Presentations should be clear, concise, and follow the specified slide limits and formats detailed below.

Presentation Time & Slide Limits

  • Posters: 4-Minute Presentation + 2-Minute Discussion (Maximum 4 slides)
  • Papers: 6-Minute Presentation + 2-Minute Discussion (Maximum 12 slides)

PPT Format Guidelines

  • Use PowerPoint version 2013 or later.
  • All videos must be embedded in MP4 format.
  • Save presentations with videos as PowerPoint Show (.ppsx) format.
  • Ensure fonts, images, and videos work seamlessly on Windows systems.

Submission Deadlines

Final PPTs must be submitted by 25th July 2025. The submission portal will be open from Monday evening. Failure to submit by the deadline may result in disqualification.

Presentation Protocol

  • All presentations will be run from the central console by the technical team.
  • Speakers will not operate the system directly during the session to ensure smooth flow.
  • Carry a backup of your presentation on a pen drive as an additional safety measure.
  • Presenters must show their ASI Membership Number and HOD Letter (Soft Copy) to the hall in-charge before entering the halls/screens.
  • Failure to comply will result in disqualification from presentation and marked absent.

Important Notice for Presenters

Before logging in to submit your PPT, ensure it is finalized and saved correctly as per the guidelines above.

Once your PPT is ready and open, submit it immediately after login to avoid session timeout. The submission portal has a 5-minute session limit.
