Special Category: Trauma Paper Presentation
The KSCASI has decided to introduce a special category where the sole focus is on Trauma at MIDCON-2025. In addition to the general guidelines for abstract submissions, trauma paper submissions must also follow these specific rules:
- Definition of Trauma (for MIDCON paper submissions only): Trauma abstracts must directly pertain to one or more of the following:
- Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs)
- Animal Attacks
- Physical Assaults
- Penetrating Injuries
- Injuries resulting from Falls from Height
- Scope of Eligible Papers: Submissions should focus on trauma as a central theme via original research, case series, or relevant data analysis. Abstracts should not deviate into unrelated or peripheral topics.
- Reclassification: Papers with trauma-related content that do not strictly meet the above definitions may be redirected to poster or general paper categories at the discretion of the Scientific Committee.
- Scientific Committee Discretion: The committee reserves the right to reject any abstract not aligned with these trauma guidelines. Ensure clarity and relevance in submissions.
For any clarifications, participants are encouraged to contact the Scientific Committee before submitting their trauma abstracts.
